The 21st edition of Queer Lisboa, Lisbon’s only film festival dedicated to LGBTQ themes, is scheduled for 15-23 September. Opening the festival is Francis Lee’s acclaimed film, God´s Own County. Queer Lisboa screenings take place at Cinema São Jorge.

A highlight of the festival is Taiwanese multimedia artist Shu Lea Cheang. The artist, whose works are in the collections of institutions such as the Guggenheim Museum and the Whitney Museum of American Art, will be the subject of a retrospective developed by Queer Lisboa.
